B. Apply strategies for and knowledge of issues related to managing the change process in schools.
In this PowerPoint I used knowledge of the history of technology use in schools to discuss the future of technology in education. Advancements in technology will continue to increase the ability of students with disabilities to take a more active role in their education. New technologies will change the landscape of education and make learning more available than in any time in history (distance learning, eLearning, Video Conferencing, etc.).
Artifact:
C. Apply effective group process skills.
This document provides information on the benefits of forming school partnerships, both within and without the school setting, that will support technology integration. The Technology Stakeholders document explains the many stakeholders that have a part in relation to school technology. The Funding Paper makes clear how a grant through an outside partnership could have tremendous impact.
Artifact:
D. Lead in the development and evaluation of district technology planning and implementation.
I evaluated our school technology environment and discussed issues related to developing a school technology plan for our school. I determined the essential components of a school technology plan which could be shared with the principal and technology committee.
Artifact:
After examining issues pertaining to software and hardware, I created a plan pertaining to software tracking and piracy prevention. I also did research on available grant opportunities and came up with a plan for our school.

E. Engage in supervised field-based experiences with accomplished technology facilitators and/or directors.
The following documents helped to determine the components needed for effective field-based experiences to be used during my internship toward instructional program and professional development. They explain facility and resource management using the school WAN/LAN system. I created a Project Proposal for my internship which included Web page development, a staff wiki, and Web 2.0 instruction.
Artifact:
I worked with Debbie Ray, the Instructional Technology Teacher Specialist from our Office of Instructional Technology, to determine what I needed to develop a successful school-wide web page as part of my internship. We ultimately set up a meeing to plan for an effective professional development to train the staff to make their own web pages as part of the larger school web page.
